Oh no, Nick Thorpe has a website

Welcome! I made a little corner of television's famous "The Internet" for myself, like it's The Year 2000 (or "Why Two Kay?" as the kids are calling it). Except this time, it's Neocities rather than Geocities, and I'm not doing all the HTML with a Dreamcast controller.

For me, this is a place to put any long-form writing that doesn't really fit in with my professional endeavours, and do a little blog without being beholden to Big Blog, or whatever we're calling it these days.

For you, this is a place to follow what I'm up to if you're not interested in signing up to BlueSky for my daily snippets of nonsense.

A new blog post, a short one to mark Singles' Day about being single. It's more upbeat than you might expect given the topic, and the phrase "self-insert erotic murder fiction" appears in it, so it has that going for it.
